The HighPoint Rocket 620 is low cost internal SATA 6Gb/s x1 PCIe host
adapter that adds two internal SATA III 6Gb/s ports to PCIe equipped Windows and
Linux systems. The Rocket 620 enables the use of the industry’s newest and fastest hard drives at 6Gb/s while providing backward
compatibility to legacy SATA 1.5Gb/s or 3Gb/s drives. It uses the same cable and connectors as previous SATA
generations to ease integration.
